Meshuggah Sidewaves
Fri 8th Jan, 2010 in Local News
Swedish metal legends Meshuggah are set to bring the noise at two Soundwave sideshows this coming February.
Pioneers in avant-garde metal, Meshuggah have been pushing musical boundaries since their formation in 1987 and recently released their sixth studio album obZen, which was described by Revolver magazine as “some of group’s most complicated [work]” to date.
Joining them on the bill will be US hardcore upstarts It Dies Today and deathcore aficionados Whitechapel, ensuring that this gig may well be one the most brutal Sidewaves of the tour.
Fasterlouder presents Meshuggah with It Dies Today and Whitechapel:
Monday 22 February – Manning Bar, Sydney (18+)
Thursday 25 February – Billboard The Venue, Melbourne (18+)
Tickets on sale Friday 15th January, 9am
