Boogie lineup
Thu 10th Dec, 2009 in Local News
Boogie is a boutique camping festival for 500 punters hosted by Bruzzy’s Farm in Tallarook, about an hour outside of Melbourne. It takes place over 3 days and 2 nights on Easter weekend – that’s the 2nd – 4th of April in 2010.
Last year’s festival saw Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Dan Auerbach from the Black Keys, Tony Joe White, Even and many more share a stage and rejoice in the glorious weather by day and rockin’ times at night.
This year’s first round of guests is headlined by troubadour superstar, Justin Townes Earle, unofficial cowpoke revivalists Wagons and Adelaide’s retro rock and swayers, Leader Cheetah.
Also on the bill are outrageous psychedelic rockers The Dacios; Sydney’s young harmonious quartet Boy and Bear; Geelong’s mod sensations The Frowning Clouds; and Mikey from Eddy Current, who obviously had a great time at last year’s festival and returns with his Ooga Boogas in 2010.
The second round of the bill is due in February once all the Meredith, New Years, Big Day Out and Laneway dust settles.
Tickets on sale from Friday 11 December 11
