Sunset Events have come up with yet another way to celebrate original music, this time for a group often unappreciated by the industry as a whole, who help us capture the memories of events which passed in one haze or another. Music photographers are always there and always steady of hand and eye giving us pictures with which we can recreate our festival days.

The aim of the competition is to collate an immense gallery of Southbound photos stretching back to the first Southbound festival in 2005 and taken by anyone who was there .

The winner will be voted by the public and will take home a swanky DSLR camera and get full access to Southbound as the official photographer as well as the full VIP/Pampered Camping treatment for two. Voters will also go in the running to win tickets.

Whether it’s the music, the camping, the community, the arts or the environment, Sunset want to know what defines your Southbound experience. Send your best two photos to editor@sunsetmag.com.au by 5pm December 16.

Voting closes on Dec 22 with the winners announced the next day.
