After five years illuminating Perth venues, the electric energy of the Preytells will be severed like so many fairy lights after Christmas.

The lovely Will and Audrey Tell are moving interstate, so after one last gig, fittingly on boxing day, they will say farewell to our sunny shores and hello to… well, Victoria. Saturday 26 December at Amplifier Bar is your last chance to catch them headlining anything.

Expect to see a performance to end all performances since it will actually be the end of all Preytells performances, at least for the foreseeable future. They’ll be giving us everything they’ve got supported by their friends Apricot Rail, The City Watch and Timothy Nelson.

The Preytells leave behind an impressive resume of international supports, major festivals, and competition wins. The jewel of their career crown is their recently released album Flood Songs / June Songs, a CD that takes the listener on a blazing journey from golden Beatles-esque pop songs to artistic indie gems with a brief foray into the atmospheric and menacing.
