Biffy Clyro postpone tour
Mon 7th Dec, 2009 in Local News
Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro have canceled their upcoming Australian tour citing – œminor medical procedures’ as the reason.
The statement from the band claims that “both Simon [Neil] and James [Johnston] require minor medical procedures, for conditions that whilst not yet serious, will become debilitating if not attended to.”
It seems that the only time the singer and bass player can book in their operations clashes with the plan to play Australian shows in Sydney, Melbourne and at the Pyramid festival.
There is no word yet as to who will replace them on the Pyramid bill, but the news isn’t all bad for fans of the Scotsmen; with the band assuring us that they’re “currently aiming to be back in Australia in early May” and hope to be able to add more dates to their tour.
