US funk/party kings Breakestra hit Australia in early 2010 with fellow Californian, turntable master J-Rocc, in tow.

The brain child of Miles Tackett, Breakestra was born out of jams at a local LA Coffee house – œThe Breaks’ in 1996. They toured Australia with the Good Viberations festival in 2006 and now return to celebrate the launch of their new album Dusk Til Dawn dosed up on their funk and breakbeat jams.

Currently working on his solo album for the mighty Stones Throw label, turntablist J-Rocc began DJing in the mid 80s, and formed the Beat Junkies with Melo-D and Rhettmatic in 1992. J-Rocc has been the DJ for Madlib’s live shows since the early 2000’s and joined Madlib and J Dilla as the third member of Jaylib during the group’s live shows.
