The head of the mighty Wu-Tang empire, rapper and producer RZA, returns to Australia for a string of shows in early February.
After playing shows in Sydney and Melbourne in October with fellow Clan members GZA, DJ Mathematics, Inspectah Deck and Raekwon, RZA returns to play his own headline shows across Australia in February.
RZA is the pivotal force behind the Wu-Tang name and his much imitated lean and menacing production work has been the foundation of many albums from the Wu-Tang family, the Gravediggaz’ classic debut 6 Feet Deep and soundtracks including Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai and Kill Bill.
A veritable Renaissance man, RZA has worked as a rapper, producer, composer, actor, director, screenwriter and author – his newly published book The Tao of Wu details the philosophy of the Wu Tang and his own worldview.
