The Cribs sideshows

“The biggest cult band in the UK”, The Cribs, embark on a long-awaited return to Australia this February and have added shows in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne in addition to their place on the Playground Weekender bill.
The Cribs fourth album, Ignore The Ignorant, the follow up to 2007’s Men’s Needs, adds Smiths and Modest Mouse guitarist Johnny Marr to the mix resulting in a stronger, darker record.
Marr explains that joining the Jarmann brothers – Gary, Ross and Ryan – wasn’t a hard decision to make: “They’ve got the brains of the Buzzcocks, the guts of Nirvana, the fizz of the Ramones. I know how to be in a really good group and that’s what this is. Despite who I am and my history, what really counts is the way it sounds when we write songs together and when we’re in front of an audience.”
Join that audience at The Cribs sideshows next February.
Saturday 13 February – Rosemount Hotel Perth
Tuesday 16 February – The Zoo, Brisbane
Wednesday 17 February – Billboard, Melbourne
Friday 18 February – Manning Bar, Sydney
Tickets on sale Tuesday December 8.
