Passion Pit, Rise Againstsideshows sold out

Hyped indie popsters Passion Pit and Chicago punks Rise Against have sold out their Melbourne BDO side shows a mere two days after tickets went on sale.

With the BDO sold out in Melbourne, punters will have to road trip to the Sydney sideshows if they want to catch these acts playing

Punters hoping to score tickets to the other side shows be warned – tickets are moving disturbingly fast.

passion pit was like $70 at the corner...a wee bit over the top for a band with only one album behind them

Tickets go on sale.

I assume he meant bands setting ticket prices far higher than their musical credentials would suggest is appropriate.

I actually thought RA would play the Hordern again a la Lily, so no surprise whatsoever they sold out the Enmore.

Didn't know Passion Pit had such a strong following, though.

The Metro website says Passion Pit aren't sold out yet. Or is this only referring to Melbourne?
I enjoy them, wouldn't pay $70, but will check them out at Big Day Out. And yeah $70 is excessive for a band who've only had one album.
