Sydney’s Richard In Your Mind are making some of the sweetest experimental pop currently oozing out of this country. With its luscious layers of instrumentation and quirky lyrics, their debut album The Future Prehistoric had critics drooling with excitement way back in 2007.

Although we haven’t got our hands on a new album just yet, we have been given a taste of things to come with the release of seven new musical treats on Summertime EP. The first official release through their new label Rice Is Nice, the EP explores the sunny side of psychedelia. There are blips, blops, beautiful hip-hop beats and what we think may be a sitar, all rolled into a mish-mash of an EP which is a fine sign of things to come.
