Already confirmed as headliners for next year’s Future Music Festival, Franz Ferdinand has announced they will also be playing two bite-sized sideshows whilst downunder in 2010.

The last time the Scottish post-punkers graced us with their pasty presence, they were bringing in the new year at Fall’s Festival, and left our FL reviewer declaring their long-awaited return as “outstanding – a brilliant party!”.

Renowned for putting on some of the best live shows this side of Glasgow, Franz Ferdinand is not to be missed next March.

Wednesday 3rd March -The Forum Theatre, Melbourne
Thursday 4th March -Big Top, Luna Park, Sydney
Feb 27 – Mar 8 2010 – Future Music Festival

I saw them in Melbourne at the start of the year and really enjoyed it.

They are at The Big Top on Thursday 4 March because Pavement is on at The Enmore.

I will be at Pavement hanging out with Gaymour.

They were $66.10 last time they came, this january - so expect a slight markup. Unless they're generous with a bigger venue.
