In one of the biggest Sidewave announcements so far, Alexisonfire, Anti-Flag and Comeback Kid will pool their powers for two club dates. FasterLouder is proud to present these raucous shows in Sydney and Melbourne.

Alexisonfire is one of the most anticipated acts on the 2010 Soundwave bill, bolstered by the success of most recent album Old Crows Young Cardinals. The Ontario five-piece knows how to deliver a rousing live set, and they’ll be in good company for these Sidewaves. Anti-Flag impressed on the Big Day Out 2008 tour with their punk fervour, while hardcore crusaders Comeback Kid will make a fiery return.

Alexisonfire, Anti-Flag and Comback Kid play these Sidewaves, with FasterLouder riding alongside. Tickets on sale Wednesday 9 December.

Monday 22 February – The Forum, Sydney [Lic/All Ages]
Wednesday 24 February – Billboard, Melbourne [18+]

I like the Forum. I don't remember them ever doing an 18+ in Sydney. Gonna have to do another road trip again like the last tour for the 18+ at Billboard.

Before I ever heard of Soundwave the word 'clash' was rarely used, well except when I was really into The Clash. Those were good times.

I'll be shooting AFI on that night, and I've already done the whole Alexisonfire fan thing, which is why I don't feel that upset about not even getting to see them at Soundwave. I will get to see Anti-Flag though.
