Sundae Series #3
Wed 25th Nov, 2009 in Local News
Sunday is supposed to be the day of rest, but things are never too reverent down at The Workers Club with a third season of their popular Sundae series set to scoff at the man upstairs in the coming weeks.
Continuing the diversity offered in series #1 and #2 – which saw the likes of Qua, Mountains in The Sky, Darren Sylvester, Rat Vs Possum, Primitive Calculators, Bachelorette and Rowland S Howard grace the bill – the Sundae Workers Series #3 will take place over four Sundays beginning on 29 November.
The array of captivating line ups includes Australian legends The Church, the highly praised Songs – who recently received a glowing “Ten stars. A hundred stars. A shimmering, cascading universe-full” review from Everett “I knew Kurt Cobain” True – and a solo show from American rock’n’roll classicist Kelley Stoltz on his fourth Australian tour.
You can even get a Sundae Series pass to save on entry to all four shows.
Sunday 29 November – Songs, Kes Band, Fabulous Diamonds, The Ancients
Sunday 5 December – The Church, Alexander & Thomas (Oh Mercy)
Sunday 13 December – I heart Hiroshima, Danimals, Gold Tango, Love Connection
Sunday 20 December – Kelley Stoltz, The UV Race, Ships Piano
