One of summer’s most-anticipated tours has just bulked up. After selling out their shows in Sydney and Melbourne, rock powerhouse Them Crooked Vultures has added second nights for both cities.

With the star ingredients involved, plenty of fans clearly banked on these being unmissable shows before hearing the album. Happily, the self-titled debut cranks from start to finish – sounding every bit like a record built to play live. Read the FasterLouder review for a glowing endorsement of Homme, Grohl and Jones.

Here’s the updated Them Crooked Vultures itinerary for Sydney and Melbourne. Tickets for the new shows are on sale Friday 4 December.

Ooh. I may be interested in this. At least now I can buy the album and have a decent listen before deciding whether to go or not.

Not being on Australia Day is a massive bonus as well.

If they're going to play gigs then why not add some dates outside of Sydney

um. seriously eat a dick at $105 per ticket. that's almost a festival tickets you greedy cunts. i don't care what band's you were once in. the album is just out and it's not even that great. i watched a bootleg performance and it honestly didn't make me cream my pants.

You know I've been reading so much about Them Crooked Vultures lately that they were in my dream a couple of nights ago.

Half way through the dream ->....My friend and I see a bird and are trying to figure out what species it is. We finally conclude that, "of course", it is a Crooked Vulture. I then say to my friend, "You know, there's a band called Them Crooked Vultures...they're coming out here soon!" She is very intrigued...........the dream moves on.

Judging by the amount of time it took the first Sydney gig to sell out, this one is going to be very empty.

Guess what? Britney Spears charged hundreds of dollars for tickets to her concert. Did I care? No, because I wasn't going to go anyway.
