Jeff Tweedy will lead the wonderful Wilco to Australia in April 2010 for a string of “intimate theatre-style shows”. This will be the band’s fourth tour here, and each time their following grows.

This year marked the release of Wilco (The Album), a relaxed, assured and slyly humorous effort from the veterans. It’s another highlight in a seven-album career with plenty of twists and turns.

As Australian fans know well, Wilco sets out to cover a lot of ground in its live shows, with performances that stretch over the two-hour mark. Expect to be wowed again.

Wilco die-hards in Sydney will have a chance to purchase a premium ticket that ensures a great seat at the State Theatre show, then entry to the Factory the next night. The Factory tickets will not be made available as a standalone ticket.

Seek out Wilco at the following venues next April and May. Tickets on sale Monday 23 November.
