The final list of J Awards nominations have been announced for 2009, with an interesting mix of both new and well established talent making the final cut. Starting in 2005, past winners of the J Award include Wolfmother, PNAU and The Presets.

The judging panel is made up of JJJ staff and the winners will be announced at a ceremony on Friday 4 December with a live broadcast from the event.

The full list of nominees for the 2009 J Awards are:
