Long Island five-piece Brand New will return to Australia in March 2010. The band is set to play five stand-alone shows around the country, armed with the songs from new album Daisy.

Brand New last paid us a visit in January 2008 as part of the Big Day Out line-up, with a couple of sweaty sideshows along the way. Daisy sees the men once again wearing hearts on sleeve, and doing it with typical gusto. The live show is sure to stir fans, just as it did two summers ago. Joining in on this national circuit will be prolific singer-songwriter Kevin Devine, who’s a regular touring mate of Brand New.

Brand New bring the Daisy tour to these venues in March. Tickets on sale Friday 27 November.

Thursday 25 March – Sydney, Enmore Theatre [Lic A/A]
Saturday 27 March – Brisbane, The Tivoli [18+]
Sunday 28 March – Melbourne, Palace Theatre [18+]
Tuesday 30 March – Adelaide, HQ [Lic A/A]
Wednesday 31 March – Perth, Metro Fremantle [18+]

Brand New will be returning to Australia in March to support their fourth full length album, Daisy. This will be their first Australian tour since early 2008. The dates will all go on sale on Thursday November 19th:

I really love Deja Entendu, but every time I've seen Brand New live they've been craptacular, maybe i've just been seeing them in the wrong environments?

On their first oz tour at the roundhouse they were anything but craptacular. Never seen them since then but it was definitely one of the best shows the Roundhouse has seen.

The roundhouse still has Brand new residue it was so good.

I will be at at least one of these shows, but my hopes will be low as Jesse will be playing a lot off the new album.

Yeah the first tour since the ill fated blink 182 was really good and the second tour blew big chunks.

i don't live in a hostel you failure, bottom line is brand new sucked, and will probably suck this tour also ps. keep on sucking up to the sydney skaters it's amusing me to no end.

i think the reason it sold out is due to jesse stating he's not sure about the future of brand new in a recent interview , Brisbane is also sold out, sydney has some seats left.
