Rough and ready supergroup the Dead Weather will at last pay us a visit in 2010. The all-star line-up of Jack White, The Kills firebrand Alison Mosshart, Queens Of The Stone Age man Dean Fertita and Raconteurs bassist Jack Lawrence has four headline shows lined up for March.
While the band has been rumoured for several Australian festival bills, this will be a chance to catch them on their own terms. They’ve been touring hard off the back of debut album Horehound, and as Mosshart told The Age newspaper this morning, “The gigs are much more ferocious than the record. Much more.”
The Dead Weather play these shows in March. Tickets on sale Tuesday 24 November.

Tuesday 23 March – The Tivoli, Brisbane
Friday 26 March – Enmore Theatre, Sydney
Monday 29 March – Metro City, Perth
