“December 6, 2006 is a day that we will never forget. A day that changed our lives forever. In the early hours of the morning we lost two of our dearest friends to a horrific car accident. They were drink driving.”

In a bid to raise awareness of the dangers of drink driving in our society Mudd Promotions has teamed up with Ruff N Ready Records and Zombie Dog Entertainment to bring you The Think Tank Music Festival on Saturday 14 November.

Held at the UC Refectory, 19 acts will play across two stages in a day crammed with metal, pop, punk and hardcore as well as a few DJ sets thrown in for good measure.

The festival is supporting the hard-working National Brain Injury Foundation which is located here in Canberra. The charity is in desperate need of support and with the help of the Think Tank Music Festival, hope to send their message out into the wider community.

So the line-up?

Explosive metal 5-piece Daysend will be legging it down from Sydney to headline the festival. Joining them will be fellow Sydney-siders Lord, continuing on their Set in Stone tour. Mixing up the vibe, psychobilly rockers Casino Rumblers will be exploding our eardrums with their crazy blend of psyco-punk.

Also lending their time for an awesome cause is:

Frankenbok (VIC)
The Vee Bees
Australian Kingswood Factory (VIC)
Looking Glass
Escape Syndrome
Ebolagoldfish (NSW)
Johnny Roadkill
Point of View
The Great Escape (NSW)
All Guns Blazing
Never Trust a Bunny
Paqman (VIC)
Dertyrich (NSW)
Metavirus
DJ Not You
DJ Evil Chris

The gig is 18+ so bring your ID along, all proceeds go to the National Brain Injury Foundation so get on down to UC Refectory, grab yourself a ticket and enjoy the variety of live music on offer.
