The lynchpin of Suicidal Tendencies – Mike Muir – is rumoured to be lurking around the Sunshine Coast this week, taking a hands on approach to firming up a run of three intimate club shows in South East Queensland for the band in December.

The Pre-Invasion Tour will hit the Gold Coast, Byron Bay and the Sunshine Coast.

The band flies out from Los Angeles later this month for the first Australian shows since playing Soundwave in 2007.

These dates are the only Australian shows scheduled for the near future. Perfect time of a year for a road trip if you don’t live in South East Queensland and have a jones for this seminal Californian crossover thrash and hardcore punk outfit.
