It’s time to dust off your best frock and pull out the fancy Chucks, because on Thursday 5th November FasterLouder officially turns five – and we are ready to party like it is 2004, baby.

To celebrate this momentous occasion and say a big thank you to the amazing writers, photographers and forum junkies who have made it all possible, next Thursday we are putting on a party in a city near you! There will be bands, booze and bounty aplenty.

Well I was there!

But gosh! For a bunch of 'music lovers' everyone was pretty unreceptive of the bands. Shame.

I made Piko, DB and Jose do shots of Jager until the whole bottle was empty. It was quite hilarious. At the start they were asking me why I wasn't drinking them, but I'd change the subject and hand them another shot. It took them 5 minutes to finish the whole bottle.

I knew he was totaled by how increasingly abusive his texts got over the course of the night. Jose, you should have put his hand in his pants. With that smile on his face it would have been the perfect shot.

Twas pretty kick ass. Everyone was well behaved and it was nice to meet some contribs I've never met before. We had to bail and go for food in the end but the bands were pretty rockin and there was a decent turnout considering it was a school night.

Well i got home a little after 1am! and I did make it to work on time!! no thanks to VB Raw and Jager and my drinks of rum! Still feeling a tad rusty, but my boss hasn't noticed! Oh what do i care, i've already been fired lol

note: i also did notice a complete lack of applause for bands, i'm so polite I was clapping when songs ended even if i didn't payed zero attention to it. it's just what ya do isn't it?

As for DB lol, every Jager he had made his face would screw up with increasing ferocity

The bands went off and we raised about 2kilograms worth of gold coins in donations for movember

you wouldn't be the only paedophile, I mean person with a moustache at the moment...

So I have been getting interesting reports from out party people who only drank the VB Raw that even thought they were trashed, they woke up with no hangover the next day.. Has anyone else noticed this? Perhaps the good VB Raw people would like us to run an experiment... we'd need lots and lots of beer though because we'd want a large number to test subjects to make it as scientific as possible, and they'd have to only be drinking raw...
