The International Beat Mystery

If you’re starving for something a little upbeat and funky, look no further than the upcoming International Beat Mystery at Leederville’s Funk Club.
Having recently played sold out shows in support of their new album, The Typhoons headline the show fresh from supporting Lyrics Born and The Streets. The Typhoons are renowned for their award-winning and entertaining live show.
Supporting the Typhoons is local psych-hop maestro Mathas. Mathas has a unique style of lyricism and will be featuing tracks of his recently released album 10 Pound Hairless Sasquatch.
The Brow Horn Orchestra, Western Australia’s entrant in the national final of the National Campus Bands Competition, also join the The Typhoons with their skatronic hip hop grooves. Local favourite Charlie Bucket rounds out the bill.
The International Beat Mystery plays the Funk Club (upstairs at the Leederville Hotel) on Friday 30 October 2009.
