Sydney’s Metro Theatre has long been regarded as one of the best venues in which to catch live music in the Harbour City. Over the years it has seen an enviable list of international and local bands grace its stage and thousands of punters soak up the music they love most.
In the last twelve months alone Anton Newcombe of the Brian Jonestown Massacre enthralled a sold-out Metro with his other-worldly behaviour and psychedelic classics; Canadian punk legends Propaghandi tore up the boards whilst spitting out all their classics and Craig Nicholls got his crazy on
at one of the last live shows for The Vines.
Given the Metro’s reputation for amazing live performances FasterLouder is very excited to be launching Metro TV. Every week we will bring you footage from gigs that have taken place at the newly renamed Virgin Mobile Metro, giving you the chance to re-live the goodness or just see what you missed out on!
To kick things off we have video footage from the mighty Bronx. The Californian punks harbour a mutual love for Australian audiences, so when they hit The Metro last month there was wasn’t a dry body left in the house.
