The Snowdroppers present TheBarrelhouse
Tue 20th Oct, 2009 in Local News
After putting in a fiery performance at the 2009 Festival Awards party, Sydney blues roughnecks The Snowdroppers will release their debut album Too Late To Pray this month. To celebrate its arrival, the band is set to transform Rozelle watering hole The Bridge Hotel into a Juke Joint for four unhinged shows across four weeks.
On each night, the venue will become “a place where blues and booze is wild and dangerous again”, led by The Snowdroppers themselves. The low-down and grimy rock – œn roll will also come from Lani Lane, La Mancha Negra, Nici Blue Eyes, The Barons Of Tang, Steve Smyth, The Brothers Grim and several more.
We couldn’t say it better than the men themselves: “Get ready to indulge the power-drinking, body-grinding, string-picking, nipple-licking, ghetto-dancing, finger-sniffing deviant blues child in all of us.”
The Snowdroppers present The Barrelhouse at Bridge Hotel on Friday 23rd Oct, 30th Oct, 6 Nov and 13 Nov.
