Sydney’s much-loved Homebake has put the finishing touches on its 2009 line-up. The annual celebration of all things antipodean is – like every year – well and truly sold-out, so the lucky ones with tickets now have more to gloat about.

This final batch of names fills out the day handsomely. Following on from his stirring circuit of the country, Paul Dempsey and band will put Everything Is True through its paces in the open air. Also new to the party are indie exports Howling Bells, stopping by the Domain on their homecoming tour.

Then there’s Gin Wigmore with her touring companions The Cardinals (Aussie for one day only), the beautific Bridezilla, FL favourites Yves Klein Blue, rock – œn roll reps The Scare and Philadelphia Grand Jury, plus several more ones-to-watch.
