Dapper Sydney quartet Red Riders will embark on an east coast tour in November, proudly presented by FasterLouder. The band has recently come off a tour with Little Birdy and will send 2009 off on a high with a string of festival and club shows.
There’s plenty to celebrate in the Red Riders camp. Second album Drown In Colour arrived back in July, and in the words of our reviewer: “there’s no doubt we’re looking at a revitalised band with a newfound sense of purpose”.
The lads boast a vigorous, sometimes-brooding live show that is just as lauded as their recorded output. Local indie-pop hopes The Boat People and Brissie purveyors of – œoff-colour beats’ Last Dinosaurs will provide fitting support at some shows.
Red Riders play the following venues on their east coast album tour, presented by FasterLouder. Tickets on sale Friday 9 October.
