A SECOND SYDNEY BIG DAY OUT HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED – HEAD HERE FOR DETAILS.

The 2010 edition of Big Day Out is already proving to be a blockbuster, with the Sydney leg selling out in a flash.

General release tickets went on sale this morning at 9am, with Ticketmaster swiftly displaying – œSOLD OUT’. The much-debated line-up – headed by Muse, Kasabian, Lily Allen and Mastodon – has clearly proven to be a hit.

Gold Coast tickets go on sale tomorrow morning, with Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth following on Friday. With the precedent set by Sydney, we suggest you have the credit card poised and ready.

MELBOURNE: On Sale 12am Friday 9th October

Are you sure that all the times advised up the top are correct? I would have bought them earlier if I wasn't cool enough to check around 10pm. Wait a sec, I was at work thinking it was all good because tickets were selling at midnight. It really is a let down.

if yr mad at scalpers, send an email to Ken West and tell him so. Tell him his so-called anti-scalping measures are a joke, there are tickets on ebay MOMENTS after selling, and that if Splendour can implement a working anti-scalping system, then why doesnt he step up? Oh thats right, because he sleeps on a bed of money, and doesn't give a shit about punters being scalped.

Second Sydney Big Day Out announced!

Tickets for the Sydney BDO on Friday Jan 22 were sold out in record time this morning.

Now a second Sydney BDO has been announced.

It's only the second time in the festival’s 18-year history that a second show has been staged in any city. Coincidentally it happens to be the 100th ever Big Day Out.

The second Sydney festival will be held Saturday January 23rd with exactly the same line-up.

Tickets go on sale next Monday 12th October

p.s. you can all quit your whinging now
