Gunhilder made sure the mainstream fans had something to read with Lisa Mitchell Anne Johnsen was there to see our favourite Horn Orchestra win the State finals of the NCBC – congratulations!
Sharpshooter made sure the underagers got a look in at The Vault, Stollie and squagz had the Hardcore crowd covered with Haste the Day and Raised Fist, and the old skool indie crowd welcomed a return to the stage for Jebediah.
Fasterlouder presented The Spitfires Listening Party at the Castle,The Script hopped Maccah’s hip, Sharpshooter couldn’t miss the afros, NOFX stole the Bad Religion show, Parklife created a bit of a flurry on the forums thanks to Frog_e DigitalJunglist and Stuo and Wave Rock will go down as the best festival of the year, you can see what you missed thanks to Eagle Eye.
Finishing the month the way we started it, Kreator brought the noise to Metros and we brought it to your imaginations with help from Owencord and OriginalSin.
The festival season is decidedly on. We’ve got One Movement up this month plus Spring In The Valley festivities, Mayhem, Roctoberfest, Westdale Rock and the York Jazz Festival just to name a few..
