Shihad return to Perth inOctober

Having been out of the live scene for some time, you’d be fogiven for thinking that Shihad had called it a day. But New Zealand’s favourite sons are back and are bringing their face-slamming live show back to Perth.
Following on from the success of last year’s hit album Beautiful Machine, Shihad have returned to the live circuit and have just completed a sold out run of shows in the eastern states.
Shihad have spent the past few months in the studio recording tracks for their soon to be released new album, and the band are sure to give fans a taste of the new tracks at the upcoming shows. No doubt the band will also plunder tracks from their burgeoning back-catalogue.
Shihad are playing two consecutive nights at Amplifier on Friday 16 October 2009 and Saturday 17 October 2009. Support for the Friday show will be Kill Teen Angst and Young Reverly, and for the Saturday show The Devil Rides Out and Brutus step up.
