After ditching Empire Of The Sun bandmate Luke Steele without notice over five months ago, Nick Littlemore has revealed that he has been busy co-writing with none other than #1 fan Elton John.

“We’re making a studio album with Elton John co-writing on some tracks for the next Pnau album,” Littlemore told NME. In an attempt to explain his absence, Littlemore continued, “I’ve been working with Cirque du Soleil in Montreal and writing and recording the next Pnau album in London, Atlanta and New York.”

Littlemore had apparently been swimming with his phone in his pocket and never managed to replace it. Perhaps someone should tell him about 1800-Reverse?

In the meantime, Luke Steele has been working hard on debuting the Empire Of The Sun live show on the Parklife tour. Apparently he has also almost finished writing a new album with original band The Sleepy Jackson, despite declaring back in June, “I decided to move away from that for now.”
