Project Mayhem Carnivàl

Purveyors of playful rock insanity, Project Mayhem have just released presale tickets to their latest album launch after concern that fans might miss out on tickets at the door.
Their launch Carnivàl will feature four bands, two street performers and a roving magician, following the Mayhem tradition of launches that go where normal album launches would not dare to go. Their last launch was on a sold out Paddle Steamer on the Swan, the one before that saw them create the longest door list the Rosemount had ever seen -letting every fan they could find have free entry to the gig.
As you will be aware, Saturday nights at Amps gets pretty full with the Death Disco knob factor paying the door charge to avoid queuing up to pose at each other after the decent music has finished. The band putting their tickets up for presale is a stroke of genius, because not only does it mean that all the fans will get a ticket, but that the place will be full of actual music lovers instead of teenage Barbie dolls who have forgotten to put on pants… at least until midnight.
The launch is on November 7th at Amplifier, and you can get tickets from Heatseeker and Moshtix.
