Howling Bells homecoming tour
Fri 25th Sep, 2009 in Local News
Sydney indie exports Howling Bells will return to home soil in December for an East Coast tour. Last sighted here on the V Festival circuit, the UK-based band is enjoying a dream run abroad.
Led by magnetic vocalist Juanita Stein, Howling Bells has spent a chunk of 2009 hopping between European festivals. They’ve already supported Coldplay on an arena run and have an upcoming North American jaunt planned with Pixies. No shrinking violets, then.
This Australian tour follows the release of second album Radio Wars back in March. If you pass up these dates, your next chance might be a while off.
Thursday 3rd December – Barwon Club Hotel, Geelong
Friday 4th December – Corner Hotel, Richmond
Friday 11th December – The Zoo, Brisbane
Saturday 12th December – Neverland Bar, Gold Coast
Sunday 13th December – Great Northern Hotel, Byron Bay
Thursday 17th December – ANU Union Bar, Canberra
Friday 18th December – Gaelic Club, Sydney
