Melbourne’s only music industry conference, Face the Music – The Musician’s Conference, Saturday 31 October at the Arts Centre has announced its first round of speakers.
Face the Music will feature representatives from Triple J and Beat Magazine; Shock, Rubber, Obese, Boomtown and Sandcastle Records; local businesses Staple Group, Destroy All Lines, Premier Artists, Pan Studio, Teclo, Minnow & Co and Contemporary Music Services Tasmania; music industry associations including John Butler’s JB Seed Project, APRA, AIR, Victoria Rocks, Arts Law Centre of Australia, VROOM and Association of Artist Managers; plus musicians Charles Jenkins, Jen Cloher and The Little Stevies; producers David Carr, Forrester Savell and Jimi Maroudas, plus more to be announced.
