The Basics new album tour

Busy beavers The Basics have spent most of 2009 crisscrossing the country and honing their talents on stage, yet somewhere in amongst their schedule they have managed to find the time to record.

The highly-anticipated Keep Your Friends Close is set for release in exactly one week (Friday 25 September), featuring the breakthrough single With This Ship as well as new release The No. 1 Cause of Death Amongst Youth Today. Recorded at home and mixed at the iconic Abbey Road studios in London, a lot of quality ingredients have been added to ensure this album hits the mark.

True to form, the Melbourne trio will be back on the touring wagon as soon as possible, visiting sunny ol’ England during October, before giving Australian fans a solid serve of sounds during the last two months of the year.
