Singular showman Patrick Wolf is headed our way for Meredith Music Festival in December, and he’s making time for four special sideshows. Wolf is set to play theatres in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Melbourne around his appearance at the Supernatural Amphitheatre.

Since his last visit here in 2007, the British sartorialist has released his fourth album of daring art-pop, The Bachelor. It was the first offering from his own Bloody Chamber Music label, after splitting with Universal following The Magic Position. As he told FasterLouder back in June: “I’m all about progression, and the only way to progress is to be futuristic.” Wolf’s live performances are flamboyant and prodigious – expect to be swept up.
