Herald Sun gets rumouring

TURNS OUT THEY GOT IT WRONG – BIG DAY OUT HAS SAID ‘DEFINITELY NOT’ TO LIMP BIZKIT.
The Herald Sun was back to its old tricks yesterday, speculating on the impending festival season with the usual broad strokes. After last weekend reporting that Muse is the Big Day Out 2010 headliner-to-be, the Sunday paper turned its attention to “battle of the summer festivals”. The most surprising tit-bit contained within: reunited rap-rockers Limp Bizkit.
As mentioned in the FL forums, the Herald Sun is tipping Fred Durst and co. to also appear on the BDO line-up. The article’s author Nui Te Koha reports: – œA spokeswoman for the Big Day Out said: “The line-up is not totally not locked down, but we can rumour (Muse, Blink 182 and Limp Bizkit).”’
Taking into account the repetition of – œnot’, the phrase – œwe can rumour’ and the curious use of brackets, we recommend a forklift of salt for this one. The real Big Day Out 2010 line-up is expected to arrive in late-September. Stay tuned!
