The Sundae Workers Series returns to the Newtown Workers Club for a second collection of shows promising ‘Five Journeys in Five weeks’.

Each week an act has been presented with – œa blank canvas to expand and explore their art through aural and visual mediums whether it be projections, installations or collaborations’.

Series Two kicks off on the 13th of September with Apples In Stereo’s Robert Schneider playing his only Melbourne date. The co-founder of the Elephant 6 music collective (not to be confused with the – œactor’ of the same name) will be joined by The Parking Lot Experiments and The Smallgoods.

There’s a bye on the 20th – so as not to clash with the festivities of the High Vibes festival over in Northcote – but the Sundae Series continues on the 27th with a brace of Mistletone goodness headlined by New Zealand’s space pop doyenne Bachelorette, Royal Chord and Flying Scribble who’ll preview their debut album We’re A Chameleon produced by Qua.

Other tasty treats lined up for the series include Roland S Howard on the verge of releasing his first album in a decade, indie darlings St Helens and Denim Owl’s EP launch.

Doors at 4pm till 10pm
