Midnight Juggernauts tour
Wed 2nd Sep, 2009 in Local News
With a follow-up to Dystopia set to arrive in early 2010, synthy soundscapers Midnight Juggernauts are warming the machines for a headline tour. The Melbourne trio will play a string of dates in October and November to celebrate the release of lead single This New Technology.
It has been a whirlwind ride for the Juggers since Dystopia sent them stratospheric in 2007. They’ve proven their live clout with appearances at some of the world’s leading festivals: Glastonbury, Coachella and Primavera among them. Back home, the guys excelled in a prime slot at this year’s Splendour In The Grass, raising expectation of the new material to even more manic heights.
Making this (almost) a double-bill is the inclusion of Kiwi loose cannons Cut Off Your Hands at all shows. The band always starts a riot on this side of the Tasman, not least throughout the Laneway Festival circuit in March. Prepare for a party.
Midnight Juggernauts stop into these venues on the This New Technology tour. Tickets on sale Friday 4 September.
