Ladyhawke national tour
Fri 28th Aug, 2009 in Local News
Having spent the last year or so riding the epic wave of success of her eponymous debut album, it must’ve clicked in the mind of New Zealand electro popster Ladyhawke that she’d never actually done her own tour of her adopted Australia. Thankfully, the Modular golden girl is out to rectify that issue today announcing her very first headline tour of the country.
Kicking off this November, Ladyhawke (or Pip Brown as she’s known to her Mum) will begin a trek across the nation, letting loose the tunes that have made her a house-hold name amongst hipsters everywhere.
Joining Pip for the ride will be disco-wizards The Swiss, who according to the press release have now signed to Modular as well (round of applause for the boys), as well as The Silents on select gigs as well.
Thurs 5 Nov – Tivoli, Brisbane
Fri 6 Nov – Panthers, Newcastle
Sat 7 Nov – The Enmore, Sydney
Weds 11 Nov – ANU, Canberra
Thurs 12 Nov – The Forum, Melbourne
Fri 13 Nov – HQ, Adelaide
Sat 14 Nov – Capitol, Perth
