Soundwave 2010 ticket update

Soundwave Festival looks set to enjoy its biggest year in 2010, with organisers confirming all Brisbane early bird tickets have sold out. The rest of the country will get a punt at early birds in coming days. Here’s what Soundwave has to say about ensuring you don’t miss out.

Tickets for the Soundwave Brisbane Early Bird sold out in record time this morning. To cope with demand organizers release as second batch of tickets but these were also snapped up in record pace.

Early Bird tickets go on sale in the other cities as follows:

Sydney – Thursday 27 August

Melbourne – Friday 28 August

Adelaide/Perth – Saturday 29 August

Please note you must be registered with the Soundwave website.

General tickets on sale September 18.

It has been posted on the forum around 19 September I believe. But they are playing catch up i think.

It's been too long since a line up worth seeing has emerged. Bring on Mike Patton and Faith! If I miss out on tickets I am doing what ever it takes to see this show. Anyone know of sideshows for FNM?

Not yet - will know within the next few weeks, they won't announce them until the festival sells out probably

Its all about the revival of alternative music. Ie.
Janes and FNM.

I understand the awesomeness of Faith No More and the line-up as a whole but $151 is pushing it for my budget...add the 9.95 postage fee and the 2.90 processing fee and that takes it to $163.85. Sort of wish I didn't have uni when the presale started this morning now.

no first mistake was not staying up the night before and getting your ticket at 12.00 am like the 1/4 of punters who got earlybird tickets. That is one heck of sore point over there ...:)
