Byron Bay based roots-rock powerhouse Dallas Frasca will release her debut album Not For Love Or Money on 
Friday 21 August and is jumping behind the wheel to take it to the streets of Australia. The upcoming tour will span September and October and sees Dallas bring her gutsy soulful sounds to capital cities and regional areas.

Produced by Forrester Savell (Karnivool, Cog) Not For Love Or Money introduces a heavier, more rock flavoured sound and the album tour will showcase Dallas with a full band in tow for the first time.

Winning the Triple J ‘Light Your Fuse’ competition in 2006, Dallas has extensively toured the country alongside multi-instrumentalist Xavier Rudd and even stepped into the shoes of activist musician turned policy maker Peter Garret, fronting legends Midnight Oil at an Amnesty International charity event.

Inspired by the vocal strengths of Aretha Franklin and Betty Davis, Dallas learned to sing by listening to a small transistor radio in the lab where she worked solitary 12 hour shifts as a technician for nearly six years. Not just a pretty voice, when ongoing throat problems sidelined her singing for 18 months, Dallas insists the “blessing” forced her to teach herself how to play guitar.
