The first line-up for Valley Fiesta 2009 has just been announced!

The weekend of October 24-25 will see the Valley Mall, Brunswick Street and Chinatown Mall come to life with free all ages activities including music, theatre and performing arts. This year’s theme is based on the visual aesthetic of the Mexican Day of The Dead Festival, and will include a zombie walk.

Without further ado, here’s who you can catch as part of the Valley Fiesta 2009 music program:

C.W Stoneking, Kev Carmody, Bertie Blackman, The Mess Hall, Jack Ladder, Sampology, Aleks And The Ramps, Cuthbert And The Nightwalkers, Diafrix, Little Scout, The Frowning Clouds, The Mikki Ross Show, Andrew Morris, Butcher Birds, Hungry Kids Of Hungary, Soma Rasa, Sixfthick, Optimen, Texas Tea, The Wilson Pickers, Vegas Kings, We All Want To and more to be announced.

Valley Fiesta will also feature a satellite program of cultural events happening across various Fortitude Valley venues.
