The Queenscliff Music Festival returns in 2009, from the 27th – 29th of November, with a lineup of international and local artists headlined by The Original Wailers performing the Bob Marley classic Exodus.
The reggae legends are joined by Little Birdy, Dan Sultan, Whitley, Bertie Blackman,Tim Finn, Marcia Hines, Ed Kuepper and The Kowalski Collective, Charles Jenkins and The Zhivagos, Even, Ella Thompson, Stephen McEwan and The Yes Men and Chilean virtuoso Nano Stern.
Following the success of last year’s tribute to Van Morrison the festival will host another concert of eclectic cover versions – this year paying tribute to the Rolling Stones. The performers taking on the Glimmer Twins back catalogue include Chris Jagger (Mick’s brother) with his swampy Cajun blues band Atcha.
