Paramore confirmed forSoundwave 2010

Soundwave Promoters have confirmed via their twitter feed, that Tennessee pop-punkers Paramore will be joining the likes of Dance Gavin Dance and Gallows on the 2010 line-up.

The rumour mill is working overtime in anticipation of the first line-up announcement this Thursday night, with both Faith No More and Alexisonfire being discussed as possible headliners. Whichever band gets announced, they definitely have big shoes to fill following Nine Inch Nails’ amazing performance at this year’s event. Stay tuned to FL for more line-up updates.

before opening this thread i was expecting many many slams on Paramore.

personally i think they're absolute rubbish that are sensationalized to the shit.

Not at all, I know none of their songs, I've heard two at some stage, they were abysmal. She's just some scene "sluzzy" with crazy orange hair! =P yeah there'll be plenty of scene girls in the crowd. I'll be there with one anyway, and she'll want to see paramore. I'll want to see Aborted and realise that this lineup is balls, and get a gelato and chill while A7X play their repeated setlist to a pit of 15 year olds, then wait for KSE to play their horrible new album and go back to the hotel. I'm disappointed really, last two soundwaves shat on this. And yes, the cons far outweigh the pros. But I guarantee you that the only other band playing at the same time will be something like AFI or No Doubt. I know where I'd rather be.

well i've just seen them supporting ND at seven of the nine shows i went to the past few weeks. i don't listen to their music but i vaguely knew some songs, i've gotta say they're fun to watch live but they're a bit arrogant. i was sick of them as people by the second show when they kept plugging their new album and acting like it was a Paramore show, not a ND show.
anyway i've got a bunch of pics, will be back in Australia on the weekend so i'll post them eventually.

at the final ND show i went to though Katy Perry was the support instead and i've gotta say, it made me appreciate Paramore's performance alot more after that, haha.
