A Day At The Park is heading to Toyota Stadium in Cronulla on November 14th and FasterLouder is on board for the ride .

A Day At The Park promises to serve up a little something for everyone with a mix of acoustic balladeers, blues and roots entertainers, indie rockers and even a stray Australian rock legend – hello Richard Clapton!

The bill is headed up by rock stalwarts Hoodoo Gurus and You Am I with support from Beautiful Girls, Ash Grunwald, Bertie Blackman, Dead Letter Chorus and the aforementioned Mr Clapton. And there are nine more acts yet to be announced so keep an eye on FasterLouder for breaking news.

Tickets are $69.00 +bf and go on sale Wednesday September 2nd.

I saw the Gurus in 2007 with Radio Birdman, was a very fun show. Are they making a new record or is it just a greatest hits thing?

And The Stems, man. don't forget The Stems. It really was a Clash of the Titans.

Watching Brad Shepherd stuff white powder up his nose mid-set was a probably the highlight of that night at the Acacia Ridge Hotel.

Rob Younger is a scary scary man.

Ahh yes, the Stems. They were solid.

And Rob! I met him in February at Central Station on my way to Soundwave. He told me he'd been working with some other bands and that he was happy to get out of Birdman - he reckons it was a "hostile enviroment".
