Already well on its way to selling out, Coaster Festival has added another batch of names to its mammoth 2009 bill. The Gosford bash will host a third stage this time, showcasing talent from the Central Coast and beyond.
Leading the new injection of artists are Brisbane crusaders The Amity Affliction and DZ. Young Heretics – the new project of former Getaway Plan vocalist Matthew Wright and his dreamy pop foil Kitty Hart – will make their festival debut at Coaster.
Also on board is DJ/JG (the DJ pseudonym of Something For Numbers man Jake Grigg), Ernest Ellis, Fifty Six, Cabins and Modern Joy. The – œCentral Coast’s own supergroup’ Old Music For Old People will do their thing for the hometown crowd; recalling the halcyon days of skater pop-punk. Refresh your memory on the first line-up here.
Coaster Festival takes over Gosford Showgrounds on Saturday 12 September, proudly presented by FasterLouder. The final release of tickets is on sale now from the Coaster website.
