Dananananaykroyd cancel tour

Hyperactive Scots Dananananaykroyd won our hearts at Splendour In The Grass this year, so it is with much disappointment that we announce the cancellation of the remainder of their Australian tour.
Playing their only Sydney sideshow at The Annandale last night, drummer/vocalist John Baillie Jnr broke his arm after jumping off the stage into the crowd. The Dannanas have a reputation for potent live shows which often see their members sporadically launch themselves into the audience. Given their reputation for high octane performances it wasn’t instantly clear that Baille had injured himself last night, until it came time for his vocal part and he failed to emerge from the crowd.
They gave rip-roaring set on sleepy Sunday at Splendour and charmed FasterLouder with Mr G and Jonah impersonations whilst taking the the FL Popquiz backstage. Here’s hoping we see them back again soon.
