Fresh from their raucous Splendour slot, Grinspoon have announced a whirlwind tour in September. The band will stop in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, playing smaller venues than we’re used to seeing them in.
These intimate shows follow closely after the release of Grinspoon’s new album Six To Midnight on 11 September. The guys have been hard at work in Byron Bay for 18 months recording a follow-up to Alibis & Other Lies.
Their set on Sunday night at Splendour featured a couple of new numbers that hinted at a no-nonsense rock – œn roll album. Given how long it has been since some Grinners headline shows, expect their September run to sell swiftly.
Grinspoon plays these shows in September. Tickets on sale August 13.
Wednesday September 16 – CORNER HOTEL, Melbourne (Over 18s only)
Thursday September 17 – FACTORY THEATRE, Sydney
Saturday September 19 – THE HI-FI, Brisbane
