Dwarves return down under
Thu 23rd Jul, 2009 in Local News
Celebrating their 25th anniversary this year, punk roughnecks Dwarves have Australia in their sights. The band – which features serial nudist Nick Oliveri in its touring line-up – will play three shows in October.
Starting out in Illionis in the mid-’80s, Dwarves swiftly evolved into the hardcore beast that they remain today. A steady output of albums on the likes of Sub Pop and Epitaph Records have kept their performances vital over the years. The legacy will continue with a new record The Dwarves Are Born Again currently in the works. You never know what to expect when these miscreants hit the stage, and they’re bringing Bloodduster along for extra mayhem.
Dwarves play these shows in October, supported by Bloodduster in Sydney and Melbourne only.
Friday October 16th – Gaelic Club, Sydney
Sydney Saturday October 17th – Corner Hotel, Melbourne
Sunday October 18th – Nightlife, Gold Coast
