After supporting Cut Copy on their national tour last year, DFA darlings The Juan Maclean are due back on our shores this New Year period. According to the Popfrenzy newsletter, John Maclean is leading his troops to Australia in full band mode for some summer flings.

The time is certainly ripe for a return visit, with The Juan Maclean having recently delivered a dashing new album The Future Will Come. Given they’ll be here to usher in 2010, we can think of no more fitting locale than Falls Festival.

On 13 August, the first official line-up arrives from Falls HQ, but the rumour mill has already begun to turn. In interviews with FasterLouder, both Passion Pit and Future Of The Left have hinted they might be there. As for the headliners, it’s anyone’s guess/dream.
